Elsa Watson is the author of the historical adventure-romance novels Maid Marian, The Lady and the Pendragon, The Breakers, and The Other Elizabeth and the dog-friendly romances Dog Days and The Love Dog.

A Pacific Northwest native, Elsa started writing during a Peace Corps stint in Guinea-Bissau, a small African country. In 2001, she and her husband moved to Bainbridge Island, and in 2004, Maid Marian was published. Their family now lives in beautiful Walla Walla, Washington.
